2016I don’t know if the creation of these paintings had much to do with the field of research, in the direct sense of surveying data so these works could be structured. I rather prefer the meaning the word experience bears. The creation of these works is the result of the attempt at a sensitive and less rational interpretation of an experience of an experience that is carried out outside the studio.
These paintings communicate with other works because they follow imaginary construction strategies, in which the painting itself builds itself taking an accidental route.
I like to put my hope in the belief that there is a dialogue between work and world and that these two subjects take turns as speaker and interlocutor, giving way to a discussion that is able to cross time and space, covering itself in scars until it shatters, giving rise to numerous other works and possibilities of worlds.

“I’m not interested in any theories,
Nor these things from the East, astral romances
My hallucination is to bear the daily grind,
And my delirium is the experience with real things
A black, a poor, a student, a lonely woman
Blue jeans and motorcycles, gray, normal people
Girls inside the night, revolver: smell of dog
The humiliated ones in the park with their newspapers”
