Cipó + Cipó azul
2016My entire work began in my childhood, from the record I kept from my wanderings through the woods and the cerrado, at the banks of the Cuiabá River. Cipó and Cipó Azul are just a small sample of my experience in nature.
Cipó and Cipó Azul are part of a new experience, a transitional phase in which I am beginning to introduce new colors, to experiment with textures and a series of mixtures that have inspired me not to stop working. It is a new naturalism, a new vision of nature, new colors, new formats and new angles.

Two artists were important in the construction of my work: the first was Salvador Dalí, who encouraged me to paint, and the other was David Hockney, who encouraged me to try new colors in my work.
